Testimonials
"As simultaneous participant and tour guide of America's credit
crisis, Andrew Luan puts places and faces on the central historical
phenomenon of our time and age. As close as it gets to being in an
actual trading room selling CDOs."

"Finally a Wall Street Tour that looks behind the walls. Highly recommended!"

"A great tour! A rare opportunity to see the financial crisis through the ideas of a trader."
— Emily Schmall, financial journalist, New York City
"The Wall Street tour is exceptional. It proved to be a valuable combination of
insider information and historical perspective. Andrew was extremely personable and
took great care making us feel comfortable and answering all our questions. I'm
very pleased to have had the opportunity to see the financial markets from this
"street level" point of view. "

"Tour arranged by e-mail by my brother for the 6 of us on a Wednesday, which is not Andrew's usual day for tours. Met in front of the stock exchange.
Presented a very complete history of commerce in New York, the history of many of the organizations involved in the current financial mess, a very clear picture of the basis of this crisis, all the players, and the contribution made by all to the situation we find ourselves in. This was all accomplished while walking through the financial area and seeing the homes of many of the firms involved, several of which don't exist any longer.
There was a clear perspective presented that the current situation represents a repeat of history from the beginning of financial trading. A very enjoyable, educational, and worthwhile tour. "

Fantastic tour - don't miss it"I've been on tours in Germany, Australia, Vietnam, US and Africa, but this is hands-down the most interesting and amusing tour I've been on.
I work in the financial services industry and really loved how the tour talks about:
1) the tales of intrigue (check out the scars on the buildings where there was an assassination attempt on JP Morgan)
2) the history of Wall Street and the men who made their fortunes
3) an insiders guide to the Global Financial Crisis - Andrew used to trade the "toxic CDOs", so he was able to give us a real good run down of it.
A really well researched tour, given by a tour guide who is very passionate about the area. "

Andrew's clear explanations of the financial collapse, his historical perspective of the market, and his insider trading experience combine to offer a unique and educational experience for anyone lucky enough to be on the tour. He's extremely knowledgeable and personable. We're still talking about it! "

"Andrew provides an excellent tour of the financial district with an insider's account of the credit crisis. He blends current events with a historical perspective which is very interesting and was one of the highlights of my visit to NYC.
I would highly recommend this tour to others as a great way to learn about the recent financial crisis and the history of Wall Street. A great way to thoroughly learn about the financial district. "

Walk Your Way through the Financial Crisis "This was one of the most exceptional walking tours I've ever experienced. Andrew knew Wall Street - inside and out. And he had the history, the context, for putting recent events related to the financial crisis into perspective. The end result is an incredible, indepth tour of what is happening NOW. He makes financial discussions accessible for those who are not accounting wizards, and he enlivens the present by making connections with the past. Everyone should take this tour - "Under the buttonwood tree" indeed! "
